What an amazing month it has been for us as we have been sharing our ministry with more and more people. God is AWESOME! We had a great time at First Baptist of Welcome, NC , meeting many wonderful families who have a heart for missions and for what God is doing all over the world. Then we went to the mountains of Waynesville, NC and spent the weekend with some dear friends who opened up their home to us as we presented our ministry to many of their friends. God really had his hand involved with both of these trips, as more and more people joined in with us and recognized the importance of reaching the lost for Christ on our college campuses. Finally, last week, our family got back in the car and drove up to State College, PA for a retreat with all of our fellow campus ministers in Pennsylvania and southern New Jersey. The time we spent up there was priceless, getting to know people who were once in our shoes, and they were able to give us encouragement and advice. God is at work, and it has been a joy to see Him work and move in the hearts of His children!
God is so good. What a blessing it was to speak to some of the sweetest people, and people who love what God is doing around the world. It was a great time of proclamation and encouragement, and new relationships to carry away.
Praise God for churches who love supporting missionaries and the work they are doing for the Kingdom of God. It was exciting meeting the people and hearing how they recognize the importance of campus ministries taking the Gospel of peace to the lost students on our campuses. Please be in prayer for more opportunities like this one. If you are interested in us coming and speaking at your church, or to a group of your family/friends, or even just your own family, please do not hesitate shoot me an email and we can set something up. The more people who hear about this ministry and hear about our needs, the quicker we can get to the mission field! Praise God for what He is doing and what He will continue to do.
He deserves all praise and glory!
Love, The Underhills
Praise God for the amazing trip to Pennsylvania! It was a huge blessing to be able to put our feet on actual campuses and to see where we will be calling home. I know that you guys were praying for us and we thank you so much. As we went to each campus, we not only focused on the school, but the community where we would live. We looked at everything from churches to homes. And I think Briana and I can definitely say that we left Pennsylvania with one school/community on the top of our list. However, we truly believe that God will call us to the place He wants us to go. We ask that you would pray that the Holy Spirit would clearly call us to His choice. We want to be in the midst of His will, because there are lost students on all 6 schools that we visited that need to hear the Gospel of Jesus Christ. We don’t want to neglect a school because of our own personal opinion. We want to be obedient.
