And then... there were 6! We are happy to announce, if you haven't already heard, that on Thanksgiving Day, Benjamin Sam Underhill was born. As I type this, he is sitting right here with me kicking around and making his little grunting noises. The past month we have been very blessed to spend some time as a family with our new little boy. The other 3 kids have enjoyed him and also been very helpful. Thank you for all your support for us over the past semester... whether it has been through your prayers, providing a meal, caring for our children, or in any way. We are so thankful for each of you.
Happy New Year (Oh, and Merry Belated Christmas as well!). We didn't send out a Christmas card this year, but we have sent out our new Prayer Card and you should be getting it any day. If you do not get one, and would like to have one, please contact us because it probably means we only have your email and need to update your mailing address.
Please post it somewhere so that as we come to your mind you will: pray for our students for their encouragement for God to be their strength for salvation for God to grow their desire for the Word for God to grow OUR desire for the Word for God to remain our strength for God to continually help us die to our selfishness that we will be given renewed compassion for those who need encouragement and that spreading His gospel to the ends of the Earth would be continually our moment by moment passion.
Please continue praying as Scott spends the next few weeks, while students are gone, praying and preparing for the upcoming semester. This spring, the students are planning to take their first Mission Trip outside of PA - and we will send you details about that as soon as we have more to share. We can make all the plans we want, but what we really want to seek is what God wants for these students. How can we equip them best for this? And we believe it would be on our knees. So, please join us.
