The Reason For God
Over the summer, I took the time to read this book by Timothy Keller. He is a pastor in Manhattan, and has taken the time to write a book defending the view that there is a God. He deals with questions like, ” Why does God allow suffering in the world, How could a loving God send people to Hell, Why isn’t Christianity more inclusive, and how can one religion be “right” and the others “wrong”?” The great thing about this book is the way he deals with actual questions that he gets from people out on the street, and he deals with their issues by questioning their beliefs the same way they question Christianity. If you want to understand how to defend your faith, or you question the validity of Christianity, I encourage you to read this book.
